Welcome
to AIIM
Midwest. We are excited that you have taken the time to visit our
website and learn more about our organization. AIIM Midwest is made up
of a group of Enterprise Content Management Professionals, all with the
same goals: to provide timely educational sessions to our professional
community and to provide an avenue for networking.
On a
broader scope,
AIIM—The Enterprise Content Management Association has been a neutral
and unbiased source for helping individuals and organizations
understand the challenges associated with managing documents, content,
records, and business processes for over 60 years. AIIM is
international in scope, independent, implementation-focused, and, as
the representative of the entire enterprise content management
industry—including users, suppliers, and the channel—acts as the
industry's intermediary.
Our
local Chapter
is proud to be recognized as one of the strongest in the country. Our
executive committee members, representing a broad section of the
industry, work hard to continue the legacy of providing timely content
and continued value to our local members.
Working
within an
industry which is ever-changing allows our board the ability to offer
fresh topics while reintroducing historical favorites. For example, new
topics for 2007–2008 include Six-Sigma and SharePoint, and we will
bring back old favorites such as the Scanner Shootout and Records
Management. We also look to include two tours this year, including
Grinnell Mutual Insurance in November.
I
hope you will join us this year
at all of our events for an opportunity to hear from experts in our
industry while having the ability to network with your peers. If you
would like more information about our organization or are interested in
joining our Chapter, please contact me at jarnston@pritongroup.com.
